Mike Garrett is promoting the idea that fans living in the same local area should meet up and socialise, lend CD's, videos etc. and co-operate in obtaining tickets and transport to Blackmore's Night concerts. His own fan contact group, Ritchie Blackmore Fans In Lincolnshire, has informal discussion meetings on the LAST MONDAY of each month; The Tap and Spile pub, Hungate, Lincoln. This group also organises gig trips and produces the twice-yearly b/w photocopied fanzine; Black Knight.
