I'm listening for the famous music of great Master Ritchie Blackmare for 25 years and since then I'm guitar player playind His Greatest hits to begin from Deep Purple and it makes me unexplanable joyfulness. I'd love to thank(may I say)dearest Ritchie for His Tremendous talant that had inspired me over 25 years ago and made me admirer and guitar player.
My Dearest Ritchie-all the best for You and Your nice band, I love You all, Yours truly Joseph.

Roman from Moscow Russia
Dear Mr. Blackmore,
I adore your astonishing gutar playing!
And just wanted to know if the army of your fans is ever going to get a video guitar school with a couple or two of your licks and passages.
Thank You.

Brian from Victoria, Australia
I liked Ritchie in deep Purple and as soon as I learned that he had formed another band, I did some research. When Shadow Of The Moon came into Australia I bought it. Man what a change of style of music.

I loved all the instruments and the voice of Candice Knight. So beautiful. Ritchies style of music had changed from heavy rock to a more folk style. I also love folk music and also like Fairport Convention.

I would listen to Shadow Of The Moon over and over again. So when Under a Violet Moon came out I bought that too. That to me sounded as good as Shadow of the moon, but different. It seemed like Shadow of the Moon was an experiment that had worked and was very well produced.

Unfortunately, both of those CDs have been stolen off me and I have to buy them again. I wish Ritchie and Candice Knight all the success with their music. The more they put out, the more Im goimg to buy them. Good work with a good team of producers.

Jim from Pa., USA
HI Richie, I been a fan since 1978. You are a great guitarist. I look foward to hearing more of your music, please never stop playing. When I was in my 20s I got a tatoo of your guitar/castle it came out great a small tribute to you and your music.

I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF RITCHIE'S SINCE 1982. I HAVE LEARNED ALOT ON MY GUITAR BY LISTENING AND WATCHING HIM. I STILL LISTEN TO RAINBOW AND DEEP PURPLE, AND I LOVE THE BLACKMORE'S NIGHT MUSIC. ITS NICE TO SEE HE IS STILL GOING AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, AND DOING WHAT HE LIKES. KEEP GOING RITCHIE, I WILL ALWAYS LISTEN!!!

From David of Scotland
Richie Blackmore....quite simply, the greatest exponent of Rock Guitar the world has known.
I first saw the "Great Man" at the Glasgow Apollo in the early seventies with Deep Purple (after sleeping out all night to get tickets). In Rock, was riding high in the charts and that night at the concert, I knew that I was witnessing a truly innovative and remarkable guitarist.
I've followed Richie from his Purple days, through Rainbow and now to the glorious Blackmore's Night. His beautiful and sometimes haunting melodies, are quite breathtaking and along with Candice's stunning voice, it makes for a remarkable sound.
My ten year old daughter Danielle, loves Candice's voice and sings along to all the songs (her favourite is Renaissance Faire) and would dearly love to see her live in concert. So, let's hope, that you can play in Glasgow sometime in the near future.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
David

From Andras of Hungary
Thank you for all, to the beautiful music, that you are bringig to our almost lost World.

I only discovered your great band a few months ago. And I've missed yopur concert in hungary with 2 (!) days. I was very sorrow. I has been comforting only when hearing your CDs again and again.
Once again. Many-many thanks for you for the wonderful music.
Best regards, András

From Fabio of Portugal

From Tony G of the UK
I was fortunate enough to catch blackmores night live on their recent Ghost of a rose tour of the UK, and would like to take the opertunity to thank Ritchi, Candice and the rest of the band for a fantastic show. I have seen Ritchi a few times befor with Rainbow and Purple but was not prepared for what i experienced. The songs sounded even better live. What can i say about Candice but she is a beautiful woman with the voice of an angel. As for Ritchi his guitar work is better now than ever, it still astounds me. If any of you have not seen blackmores night befor and get the chance DO NOT!!!!! miss the opportunity get your tickets early, as i am sure thay will not last long, and be prepared for the experienceof your life. Now i go to "raise a glass or maybe two" to drink to the health of all off you. cheers!

I've been a fan of your since 1998. From the first moment I fell in love with your wonderful music-style. I learned all the songtexts and I love singing along with Candice *g*. Sometimes I listen to the CDs with just two candles burning and then I close my eyes to sing and to dream away... Thank you so much for all the great songs!! I hope I can visit a concert soon.

I love your songs! Please, come to Brazil!

from Sotiris of Greece
Dear mr.Blackmore it's a touching moment for me sending this note. Here in Greece your name has
mythical dimensions for 3 decades and you are the mentor of almost every rock quitarist till now.
I feel shame to tell you that i didnt knew your
current musical activity (im not very young and i don't follow today's music). But with the first hearing i felt thrilled. So romantic, so pure, so technicaly perfect. I had noticed your middleage
ifluences since "Soldier of Fortune" and Rainbow, of course. But this work is totally at that direction. I feel very happy about that, because i always used to hear things like Genesis-Steve Hacket and DeepPurple-Rainbow (as the"hard" version). Now you stand as a Trobadur with your Lady (who has brilliant voice) in the middle of today's sickness, giving us a deep breath.
I hope i dont sound melodramatic, but you must know that your music was (and will be) the soundtrack of my life (like millions also). May God gives you inspiration and everything you need. Looking forward to see you in Greece.Best wishes.

I'll try to keep this very brief, Candice and Ritchie. In the early, mid and late eighties I listened to Ritchie's Rainbow and then took a step back and discovered his Deep Purple era being 36 years of age I progressed backwards in time with Ritchie's music. I kept hoping one day I would have the opportunity to see him in concert that never happened. Work, marriage and children quickly withdrew me from the Ritchie Blackmore mandatory daily music sessions with my MacIntosh power amplifier and Dahlquist DQ10s. Boy those were the days!!! WIth the major changes in my life 10 years slipped by quickly and one day at work the topic was great guitarists in rock and BAM it all came back in a hypnotic way. Since that discussion in 2002 at my workplace. I found out in 1994-1997 Ritchie assembled Rainbow for one last album and tour, Stranger In Us All, I listened to this album "like a broken record". The entire album was a smok'in album and I couldn't believe Ritchie was still playing guitar like no other (possessed by some inner emotional force). This excited me, so I went online and found out about this website and his new direction of musical interest. I read some of the reviews on Amazon.com about Fires At Midnight. The review seemed very postitive, so I purchased Fires At Midnight in June of 2003. From the first listen through the album I was completely drawn in by its shear elegance, grace, continuity, emotion, imagery, artistry and yes, I believe power on the bass, drums (at times) and Ritchie's electric and acoustic guitars. Every song on this album is very good and anyone with an open musical mind would agree. Ritchie's musical evolution from the sixties to present is simply INCREDIBLE. There is every other good guitar player than there is Ritchie. In any event after I pruchased Fires At Midnight, I purchase Under A Violet Moon, Shadow of the Moon and Past Good TImes With Company and of cousre a week ago Ghost of A Rose. Now the most important issue, I am going to The Theater of Living Arts venue in Phila
Thank you for your time,
Steve Rosenbloom

Todd from the United States

I bought Under a Violet Moon on a whim. I saw it at the store several times, and kept looking it over, and finally just got it! I must say it is an incredible album. From the first song, I was hooked! My personal Favorite is Gone With The Wind. I'm not sure why, but this song really brings up the mental imagery. As I listen, I can almost see Viking raiders attacking outlying villages and moving nearer.

Konstantinos from Greece
I know you might consider this to be old news, but how about having Ritchie produce a tutorial video regarding his playing style? He's got a lot of precious gems in his music making history. No matter which group he's worked in, he's created a legend. How about giving the lesser guitarists and fans some insights on his technique and music style?

Mikihito from Japan
Please comeback to Japan! I heard Japanese tour (April this year) was cancelled. I'm very sad. I want to listen to the music of Blackmore's Night.

Manfred from Germany
Great medieval stuff, I'm looking forward to get the next CD. But !! please!! don't forget the good old-fashioned hard rock music. Did you ever play 'Under A Violet Moon' in a hard rocking way? Must be incredable I guess. I hope there's still place and time for a RAINBOW. Long live rock'n roll!! Best wishes ...

Greg and Karen from the United States
My wife, Karen and I attended the Cleveland, Ohio show and really enjoyed it! Can't wait to see you again. Best Wishes

James "Adam" from the United States
Dear Ritchie, I have been a fan of yours since 1973. I first saw you play live in April 1974 at the California Jam, my very first concert. You have had a very profound influence on my life. I have to say that in all honesty I would not be the same person I am today had I never encoutered Ritchie Blackmore. Your music seems to come from an emotional well that I know I have been to myself. The sound of your guitar makes an instant connection that always takes me back to wherever that place might be. All I can say is: "Thank You"! And one more thing. Please, please bring Blackmore's Night to Los Angeles. You may not think the spirit is right out here, but I think you may have more fans here than you realize. Your music is SO BEAUTIFUL, and Candice has the voice of an Angel. Hope to see you soon. Thanks, Adam

Jan from the Netherlands

I have'nt heard the new album. But i told my friends to buy it for me. I love Ritchie's music and i think he is one of the best guitar player and great musician. If Ritchie and Candice send me their email or a letter, it would be a dream come true for me.

Ron from the United States
Wish I had seen the tour in Italy... should have flown over there.

Ilhan from the United States
I have been listening to Ritchie since 1972. I have lived in Brussels, Rome, Geneva, Brasilia, Tokyo, Madrid and Istanbul and Ritchie has been part of my life under one form or another. We were unofficially promoting Ritchie in Rome in the mid seventies when people in Italy did not really listen to Rock music that much. So I am happy to see that the latest Italian Tour was a great success! I am married (sometimes had to listen to Ritchie in the car...she grew up on James Taylor and carly Simon!) and I have two young daughters, the younger one (5 year old) knows Ritchie but unfortunately calls him "Ricky Blackmartin"! I am looking for a Blackmore Strat, I will buy it (I can't even play the guitar!) for my children one day. I want them to know how much Ritchie was important to me. Kindest regards to Candice and Ritchie

Pete from the United Kingdom
i've been a fan of ritchie's for 26 years.i admire the way he has never stopped making great music (apart from stormbringer!) but ritchie, although i really like your new stuff please give us a bit more electric guitar!

Michael from the United States
I wish to thank Richie and Candice for making the music that they make so well together. We all know how great Richie's guitar playing is, but Candice's voice is fantastic. Much better than the woman that are on top of the charts now. Thank you for the music.
