Ritchie's the greatest guitar
player ever! Clapton, Page, Van Halen, and Townsend aren't even
worthy to tune his guitar.

Being an older fan of well
anything Richie puts his magical mind too I can say that I have
locked myself away in a room for countless hours trying to impersonate
the man in black but you guessed it cant get close. Anyway just
to say the hours the magical hours of Purple Rainbow etc will be
with me to the grave and now only just finding out about Blackmores
Night well I have to say it is a fact of music you take one RB give
him some shaped maple string it and supply an electrical charge
and hey presto you have something along the lines of genius. I hope
im not going to over the top but hey there is only two musical phenomenon
him and the Beatles. Chow Marc.....

Just found this site today.
Been a big Blackmore (and Deep Purple) fan for years. No matter
what, if Ritchie's playing, it always sounds good. Looking forward
to buying and hearing some of this Blackmore's Night material.

Hello, I was just wondering
if anyone knows how that fantastic sound (violin like (kind of spooky)is
created that Mr. Blackmore plays at the beginning of Blackmore's
Night concerts (Last years tour, anyway)? Is it perhaps a Vg-8 or
GR-30??? - If anyone can help...! See you all soon 'Under A Violet
Moon!'

Hello. Im a new fan of Blackmore's
Night, but deeply into it! It is nice to find artists intersted
in old ballads, songs and style and even bringing their own view
on it. Being an archeologist and historian, it feels great to work
listening to these songs that bring all sorts of memories and ideas
to my mind. thank you for this bit of dream!

As far as I am concerned
Ritchie Blackmore is the greatest guitarist of all time. Ever since
I heard Shades of Deep Purple I was hooked. I have got just about
every album Ritchie has done with Deep Purple, Rainbow and Blackmores
Night. I am still looking for the album or albums he did with Screaming
Lord Sutch (If anyone can help please let me know). All in all Ritchie
Blackmore is the main man.

Just purchased both "Shadow
of the Moon" and "Under a Violet Moon". Played them both through
this past weekend. Excellent work! Ritchie, you sound just as great
as always and Candice has a tremendous voice. I also enjoyed Ian
Anderson's piece on the "Shadow" cd. I'll be looking forward to
the next cd and to your return to the Cleveland area. Take care

Hi there. I´m a very fan
of Blackmore since Deep Purple and Rainbow. Despite the sound of
Blackmore´s night is not rock, I have to say the medieval soud is
great! Keep on, Ritchie!

Hello! Just wanted to say
how glad I am to hear you do this music. I work for a magazine (spirituality,
paganism, "new age", philosppy...16 000 every 2nd month. "As if"
200 000 i England) i Norway, and I have reviwed both of the records,
and recommended them for our readers, with very good response. Our
organisation arranges the biggest "alternative fair" i Europe –
i Oslo. 20 000 people. A dream come true would be to get B.N. there.
We could arrange it in a castle near town, too...(Just a dream)
Love and good luck in your lifes! Cheers, Eirik from Oslo.

The first time I heard "Shadow of the moon" My fiance's friend
brought it over because they are both into metal, and deep purple
and a big fan of Ritchie blackmore. Anyway, I was blown away after
hearing it, and immeaditaly went out and bought the CD. I learned
the whole cd in a matter of hours. A few months later, the same
guy came over with "Under a violet Moon" I LOVED IT!!!! I also bought
that as soon as I could. Last year I was planning on attending the
concert tour, but it was in New York. I live about 7-8hrs away,
needless to say I wasn't able to go. Well, my suggestion would be,
PLEASE come to Massachusetts!!!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I would
love to see Blackmore's Night live.

Ritchie Blackmore is one of the greatest guitarist of all
time. Ritchie Blackmore is in the same league as other legendary
guitarists from Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Eddie Van
Halen, Steve Vai & Joe Satriani. IMPO, the music that he made with
Deep Purple defined hard rock/heavy metal as we know it today &
forever.

If life is like a journey the most important is to enjoy
the ride. I felt happy to discover the Ritchie Blackmore's web site,
I have been listening Ritchie music since 1975 and for me was a
big surprise to listen his unpluged album titled shadow of the moon,
is very different to the previous albums.

Ritchie and Candice: Your music has moved me in ways I never
thought possible. I have bot releases that were made in the United
States and constantly crave more. I am awaiting with anticipation
in hopes that you will bring your show to California. Is it in the
plans for year 2000? I can still hear the Ritchie Balckmore from
the Deep Purple days in some of the songs where the electric guitar
is used in combination with the most incredible style of acoustic
guitar playing I have ever heard. You are truly one of the best
guitarists this planet has ever been blessed with.....and now to
have the beautifully melodic voice of Candice to boot!!! What a
combination!!! Hope to hear from you both soon!

I was out shopping, heard the music playing, migrated toward
it, and within seconds was asking "where is it?" I looked at the
cover and loved it (purple's my fave!) Then, I saw the word "addictive"
on the outer plastic cover and said to the clerk "no kidding, look
at me...All it took was half a song, I'm addicted!" Thanks for "Under
a Violet Moon". I feel like I can go home again. Very cool! As a
matter of fact, that's what I said to the clerk "I'm going home...know
what I mean?" She smiled and said "you bet I do!" Of course the
most shocking thing was having my future ex-husband come in and
get all excited when he saw it! Thanks for being there for us mystical
moon children, and those who are but don't know it. I think I'll
go buy him a copy...just might have the "magic" he needs!
