Through the elegant chambers of Castle Lumley, Squire Malcolm found his way down to the dungeon. A minstrel band was rehearsing for a banquet taking place in the Barrons Hall later that evening. Driven by the hypnotic rhythms, soulful guitar, enchanting vocals, and haunting violin, he found himself compelled to express the rhythms he was feeling-and Squire Malcolm of Lumley joined Blackmore's Night as our new percussionist.

Bard David of Larchmont - The spine tingling melodies of classical composers wafts through the rehearsal halls as Bard David prepares for his performances. This extremely talented virtuoso has been delighting audiences for the past 20 years on keyboards, piano, organ, harpsichord, accordion and pipe organ. He is a graduate of Purchase University in piano performances and Blackmore's Night is proud to add him to our Minstrel Band.

Earl Grey of Chamayy - bass, mandolin, guitar

Gypsy Rose:Blackmore's Night is proud to announce the addition of Gypsy Rose to our group of Minstrels. Before joining the band, Gypsy Rose was traveling the countryside with a band of rogue fiddlers. When she first heard Blackmore's Night she immediately became enchanted with their mystic melodies and found herself unable to play anything but Ghost of a Rose! Though they tolerated this behavior for a time, the wild-hearted gypsies soon grew tired of the soothing, sweet melody and cast her off the vardo. Aimlessly wandering the valleys and hills, Gypsy Rose searched for the magical minstrels who had captured her bow. A chance meeting with Master Blackmore and Lady Candice led to the only true remedy for her problem: a strict daily regimen of Cartouche, Ariel, and very strong ale!
